The island, along with its beaches have received various awards over the years from numerous travel publications and agencies since it has long, served as the favorite travel destination for many locals and tourists.

Boracay’s White Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, well known for its soft white sand along with its calm and shallow waters.

In addition to beautiful beaches, Boracay is home to a plethora of affordable hotels and resorts.

Boracay is a very lively place filled with loads of activities and night life. Wherever part of Boracay you are staying, we can assure you that you will not get bored.

HOW TO GET THERE

The fastest way to Boracay is to fly from Manila to Caticlan Airport in Panay island.

There are also many flights to Kalibo, one may also take the Manila-Kalibo flight, however, travel time is 1 1/2 hours by bus from Caticlan.

Flight time from Manila to Caticlan is approximately 50 minutes.

BEST TIME TO TRAVEL

During the dry season of Nov-May, White Beach is calm and very suitable for swimming. The other side of the island has large winds and waves making it suitable for kite surfing and windsurfing.

During the rainy season of Jun-Oct, this is reversed, with a risk of typhoons (although this area of the Philippines is relatively protected by the mountains of Negros and Cebu to the south-east from the worst weather). White Beach often gets large winds and waves which sometimes makes it unsuitable for swimming.
